JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the café to ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors throughout the café.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and other surfaces.
• Clean customer and staff washrooms regularly.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen support areas as assigned.
• Ensure entrances and outdoor areas remain clean.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Perform any other cleaning duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Uganda Certificate of Education (Senior Four) or Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (Senior Six).
• Previous cleaning experience is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
