Job Purpose

To provide academic and clinical mentorship to healthcare students by facilitating effective learning, practical skills development, and professional growth within clinical settings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct theoretical and practical teaching sessions for healthcare students.
  • Supervise students during clinical placements.
  • Demonstrate clinical procedures and professional practices.
  • Assess students’ clinical competencies and provide feedback.
  • Develop teaching materials and learning resources.
  • Maintain student performance records and assessment reports.
  • Mentor students in ethical healthcare practice.
  • Coordinate with healthcare departments to support clinical training.
  • Participate in curriculum implementation and review.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant professional qualification in the respective healthcare discipline.
  • Registered with the appropriate professional council.
  • Teaching or clinical mentorship experience is an added advantage.
