a) Masaka City intends to dispose off its old vehicles, motor cycles, generator, scrap/roof tiles and tractors. The assets will be sold on an “as is where is” basis and Masaka City will have no further liability after the sale.

For item 1
a. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
b. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Masaka City Offices and inspect Solicitation Documents at the address given below in 7(a) from 8:30am to 5:00p.m. from Monday to Friday during the Bidding Period.
For item 2,
a. The City now does put out the following notice with the intention of soliciting for sealed bids for the purchase of the following assets below:
b. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Public bidding disposal method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
c. Interested bidders may obtain detailed information to be disposed off from Masaka City Head Quarters notice board and from the Procurement and Disposal Unit. The assets to be disposed off may be inspected from Masaka City yard before 20th May 2025 at 8:00am to 5:00pm.
d. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Masaka City Offices and inspect the bidding Documents at the address given below in 7(a) from 8:30am to 5:00p.m. from Monday to Friday during the Bidding Period.
e. A complete set of Bid Documents in English may be purchased by Interested Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee UGX 100,000/- for all item 1 and 2. The methods of payment will be done using Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) and obtaining a receipt from the City cash office.
f. Bids must be delivered and registered to the address in 7(a) before 5:00 pm on 20th May 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend at the address in 7(b) at 10:00am on 21st May 2025.
