To drive institute vehicles that are in clean and sound mechanical condition.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Undertake routine and preventive maintenance of motor vehicle.
• Drive motor vehicle to transport directors, staff, clients, and others.
• Perform miscellaneous errands such as collecting and delivering mail.
• Maintain records of the motor vehicle’s daily activity.
• Regulate vehicle systems for passenger comfort.
• Observe traffic and safety precautions.
• Report motor vehicle accidents and requisition for supplies.
• Assist in performing miscellaneous tasks when not driving.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements:

• Driving Permit without any endorsements.
• Uganda Certificate of Education (“O” Level) with at least four passes.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant driving experience.

Experience needed:

Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience driving cars, buses, and/or vans.
