JOB SUMMARY:


The Economics and Geography Teacher plays a vital role in advancing the spiritual, academic, and personal development of students while contributing actively to the mission and values of Lead 4 Africa School Uganda Limited. The Economics and Geography Teacher is specifically responsible for delivering high-quality, learner-centered instruction in Economics and Geography, equipping students with a deep understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, and the interconnectedness of people, places, and environments.

The role supports competency-based learning by developing learners' competencies including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, citizenship, digital literacy, and environmental awareness. The teacher integrates biblical truth, ethical values, and diverse perspectives while grounding learning in a Christian worldview. The role includes providing pastoral support and mentorship, maintaining accurate academic records, participating in co-curricular activities, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and Christ-centred learning environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a secondary school or a similar educational setting.
  • Must have attained a Distinction in History and/or Geography at O-Level, or a grade A or B at UACE in the corresponding subjects.
