Position: Enrolled Nurse
Location: Mondays Hope Medical Centre – Senene, Mpigi
Employment Type: Full Time
Academic Qualifications:
Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualifications:
Valid registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Current practicing license.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a primary healthcare setting.
Experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred.
Special Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Compassionate, dedicated and patient-centered approach.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records are advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing holistic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.
- Assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
- Administering medications as per prescribed protocols.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes.
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the clinical environment.
- Participating in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
Reporting To: Head Nurse/Medical Officer in Charge
- Providing holistic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.
- Assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
