Role Overview
As a Farm Manager, you will be at the forefront of our agricultural operations in Kampala. This full-time, on-site position involves planning, directing, and coordinating the management of our farms to ensure optimal productivity and sustainability. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and a dedicated team, fostering a work environment that values adaptability, continuous learning, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collect and record growth, production, and environmental data.
2. Manage nurseries that grow horticultural plants for sale to trade or retail customers.
3. Determine how to allocate resources effectively and respond to unforeseen challenges, such as pest infestations or droughts.
4. Set and regulate plant growing conditions and schedules.
5. Maintain financial, operational, production, or employment records for farms.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Agriculture and other related fields.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Required Skills: Active listening, reading comprehension, speaking, coordination, and time management.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
