Financial Analyst at Brac Uganda Bank Ltd
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To ensure effective and efficient financial management of BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd through tracking the Bank’s financial performance against plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and help senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide analytical, forecasting and reporting support to senior management.
- Create and produce monthly reports which include financial results, variance reporting, branch performance, product performance, dashboard and any other ADHOC reports.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, identifying trends and recommending actions to management.
- Spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis to support decision making.
- Analyze all general ledgers and provide recommendations for improvements based on the trends.
- Guide the cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures and monitoring expenses against budget and providing quarterly cost analysis reports and recommendations
- ·Determine the cost of operations by establishing standard costs, collecting operational data.
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team and other departments to review financial information and forecasts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics or Commerce
- At least 4 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment and other related fields preferably in the banking Industry
- Possession of CPA (at least Level 3) /ACCA is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of accounting, operational and financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling.
- Excellent Analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with Strong interpersonal/ communication skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
