Job Description

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Develop learners’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French.
  • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials.
  • Assess learners’ progress and provide regular feedback to learners and parents.
  • Promote appreciation of French language and culture through classroom and co-curricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of learners’ attendance, assessment results, and behaviour.
  • Supervise learners during co-curricular activities and school events as required.
  • Uphold child protection and safeguarding standards at all times

Requirements

  • All qualified and interested candidates should submit:

  • CV indicating three referees, two of whom should have been direct supervisor
  • Copies of academic and professional qualifications

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Education with specialization in French or a related field.( A Bachelor’s Degree is added advantage)
  • Valid Teaching Certification from the Ministry of Education and Sports.
  • Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in a reputable school.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in spoken and written French.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct continuous assessments and track learner progress.
