Profile:

• Senior executive from a piling, geotechnical, or heavy civil engineering contractor
• Experience running multi-country or regional operations
• Strong plant and equipment exposure
• Track record of managing complex construction businesses
• Experience in Africa or emerging markets strongly preferred

Education

• Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or Construction Management
• MBA or executive management qualification (advantageous)

Experience

• 10–20 years in piling, geotechnical or heavy civil engineering
• 5+ years in a General Manager, Managing Director, Regional Director or Country Director role
• Full financial performance responsibility
• Experience managing plant-intensive operations
• Strong commercial and contractual background (FIDIC)

The Group General Manager will have full executive responsibility for:

• Operations, projects and contract delivery

• Plant, fleet and equipment maintenance

• Business development, tendering and strategy

This is an end-to-end leadership role with full accountability for operational and financial performance.
