JOB DETAILS:

This is typically a mid-level role focused on the systems and infrastructure. The primary goal is to ensure the organization's backend systems are running reliably, securely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Managing and maintaining core servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
• Network Management: Configuring and monitoring network infrastructure—switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi controllers, and VPNs.
• User Identity & Access Management: Creating and managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory or Azure AD.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implementing, testing, and verifying data backup and recovery procedures.
• Security: Applying security patches, managing antivirus/anti-malware solutions, and monitoring systems for vulnerabilities.
• Cloud Services Management: Administering cloud platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or AWS/Azure services.
• Infrastructure Projects: Assisting with or leading projects like new software deployments, hardware upgrades, or office moves.

Required Skills & Traits:

• Deep Technical Expertise: Proficiency in server OSes, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and directory services.
• Proactive Mindset: Focus on preventing problems before they occur through monitoring and maintenance.
• Scripting & Automation: Basic skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks.
• Project Management: Ability to plan and execute technical projects.
• Problem-Solving: Solving complex, systemic issues that are escalated from the support team.
