QUALITY PLASTICS UGANDA LIMITED is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, provide technical support to users, and ensure seamless productivity and data security. The ideal candidate will be performance-driven, highly organized, and adept at problem-solving and motivating others. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mukono.
Key Responsibilities.
- Manage servers, user accounts, access rights, and system configurations.
- Monitor system and network performance; resolve issues promptly.
- Administer LAN, firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and maintain cybersecurity.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage software licensing, updates, and IT asset inventory.
- Participate in full SAP Business One implementation (blueprint to go-live) in manufacturing/processing environments.
- Work with SAP B1 Production Module (BOMs, production orders, confirmations) and support post-go-live stabilization.
- Identify challenges in SAP implementation and apply lessons learned.
- Enforce IT policies, system backups, and CCTV maintenance.
- Perform any other IT-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT administration or system/network management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, network devices, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in manufacturing environments and hands-on SAP B1 implementation preferred.
