Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled IT Manager to lead our Information Technology function. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient ICT systems while driving digital transformation initiatives and maintaining strong cybersecurity standards.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, supervise the IT Officer, and support business operations through excellent ICT service delivery and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems:
- Oversee networks, servers, hardware, cloud services, and business systems performance
- Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and upgrading of all ICT equipment
- Provide escalated technical support and minimize system downtime
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and backups
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (DPA 2019) and ICT audit requirements
Systems & Digital Transformation:
- Lead implementation and optimization of business systems (ERP, HRMIS, CRM, production systems)
- Assess automation needs and propose digitalization improvements.
- Ensure system upgrades and integrations are delivered on time.
ICT Governance & Reporting:
- Develop and enforce ICT policies, SOPs, and service standards
- Maintain documentation of ICT architecture, configurations, and licenses
- Prepare monthly and quarterly ICT performance reports
Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage ICT procurement and vendor relationships (ISPs, ERP providers, consultants)
- Monitor ICT expenditure and ensure cost efficiency
- Oversee asset management for all ICT equipment
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Professional certifications (ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, cybersecurity, or cloud credentials) are an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years progressive ICT experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior technical role
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or fast-paced operational environments preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), servers, cloud systems, and virtualization
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, databases, Odoo, and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, monitoring systems, and backup technologies
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong planning, prioritization, and project management abilities
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
