Description

StarTimes Uganda is hiring a competent and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT operations, with strong capability in systems integration, digital payment integration, IT service delivery, and infrastructure management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage IT operations across head office and branches
  • Develop IT plans, budgets, policies, and service standards
  • Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT system performance
  • Manage third-party payment integrations, including MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, banks, Interswitch, and other payment gateways
  • Oversee APl integration, authentication, callback handling, reconciliation, and payment issue resolution
  • Support system implementation, upgrades, testing, and go-live processes
  • Manage IT security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance
  • Coordinate vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Supervise IT support, user training, and troubleshooting activities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years in IT and 2 years in system payments
  • Experience in payment systems integration, telecom, fintech, or digital service platforms is a strong advantage
  • Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, AWS, or similar will be an added advantage
