Vivo Energy Uganda, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in Uganda, invites sealed bids from interested parties for the purchase of its residential property and land located at Plot 26 and Plot 28, Nsamizi Road, Entebbe, offered on an “as is, where is” basis. The plots measure 0.2250 hectares (0.55 acres), comprise two existing residential houses, and are currently designated for private residential use under the existing lease.

PRIME LOCATION

Situated on Nsamizi Hill, Entebbe, the properties are strategically located close to Entebbe International Airport, major government institutions and key social amenities. The property has good road connectivity, good vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and are surrounded by established commercial developments, making them well suited for mixed-use commercial activity or broader commercial redevelopment.

BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Interested bidders may obtain detailed bid submission guidelines upon formal expression of interest. Each bid must include:

• Bidder’s full name, contact details, and Tax Identification Number (TIN). In the case of a consortium bid, all consortium members’ details must be included.
• Purchase offer clearly stating the bid amount exclusive of VAT.
• A 5% commitment fee submitted as a 30-day bank guarantee payable to Vivo Energy Uganda Limited. Refundable to unsuccessful bidders within five days of award.

TERMS:

• Disposal shall be conducted in accordance with Vivo Energy Uganda’s internal Procurement and Disposal Procedures.
• Property inspections are strictly by prior appointment.
• Bids submitted without a valid bank guarantee shall be rejected.
• Vivo Energy Uganda reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to withdraw the process at its sole discretion.
