Invitation To Bid For Construction Of Perimeter Wall tender at Lake Victoria Hotel Ltd

Lake Victoria Hotel Ltd invites to bids from constructors for construction of the perimeter wall located in Entebbe Kitoroo Plot 1-11 Kiwafu road. Potential Bidders shall have opportunity to visit the site and view the structural approval plan of the perimeter wall on 29th and 30th May 2025 at Lake Victoria hotel in Managing Directors office from 10am to 4pm. Bid proposals must be delivered by hand on the 18th June 2025 from 10amto 4:00 pm at Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe Plot 23/31 Circular Road in the office of the Managing Director.

The Statement of bid proposal must be on the constructor’s letterhead, inclusive of the following:

1. Proposed construction amount / price

2. Detailed bill of quantity

3. Phases of Construction to completion

4. Construction duration of time to completion

5. Physical address of the contractor, telephone number and email address.

Other requirements:

- Registration certificate with URSB

 - Tax Identification Number (TIN)

 - Trading License

- Recent registration with Relevant Regulatory Bodies such as National Building Control (NCA), Engineers’ Registration Board (ERB) and Uganda National Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (UNABCEC).

Additional Job Description for Perimeter Wall Construction:

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

- Conducting a detailed site survey to assess existing conditions and propose any necessary preliminary work.

- Excavation, foundation work, and structural base for the perimeter wall.

- Construction of a durable and aesthetically consistent perimeter wall using materials approved in the structural plan.

- Incorporation of access gates, security checkpoints, or utility access points as specified.

- Compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

 - Coordination with hotel management to minimize disruption to operations.

- Provision of regular progress reports and site meetings throughout the duration of the project.

- Ensuring proper finishing, drainage consideration, and long-term durability.

- Clearing and restoration of the work site post-construction.
