Invitation To Bid For Pre-Qualification 2025/2026

Kabarole District Local Government invites detailed applications from interested and competent registered contracting firms’ companies to bid for the following areas during the financial year 2025/2026 as follows:

A. Pre-qualification for Supplies (Goods, Services and works for the financial year 2024/2026 for the following items.
i. GOODBUSUPPLESS
j. Supply of School and Other Furniture
k. Supply and Installation of water tanks
l. Supply of Computers and Accessories.
o. Supply of Money Vehicles, Motor cycles, bicycles and Space parts.
p. Supply of Line-effects.
q. Supply of Agriculture in pub, Bee Hives, Twelve Traps and Insecticides
r. Supply of protective gears, sports equipments, Office carpets and curtains.

II. SERVICES
a. Sign Posts and Expravings.
b. Architectural Designs, physical planning & survey services
c. General Collection, disposal and beautification of Team Councils and District Companies
d. Cleaning of District-based quarters Office and buildings
e. Electrical installation and repair services.
f. Provision of shopping equipment for the District headquarters.
g. Provision of hire service and store equipment
h. Hire offering, Chefs and Public Address
i. Provision of security services at District headquarters-Kumbia
j. Hotel hiring and provision of conference services.

III. WORKBACKINSTRUCTIONS
(18) Construction/Rehabilitation of quickly Float schemes.
(19) Construction of bridges supply of bridge materials.
(20) Building construction/Rehabilitation of Government buildings, schools, staff houses and housing of government buildings.
(21) Construction/Rehabilitation of hand dug wells/thallows with a easier savings.
(22) Construction of VP airlines/Socrem Trades, waste and placenta plc.

B. Frame work continued for the following items:
i. Printing Services for General Office stationers;
ii. Supply of Stationery, tower, office Equipment & consumables
iii. Supply of fuel, lubricants, batteries, tyres, tubes & Servicing of vehicles
iv. Supply of plastic mantra, sand, road line, cement and hardware materials.
v. Supply of Refurbance concrete culverts
vi. Repair and Savoring of Computant Photozopiers.
v. Riddle Programmes and Drumens shows
v. Supply and fixing of spare parts and consumables for road unit
v. Repair and Maintenance motor cycles and Generators.
vi. Repair and Maintenance of District vehicles
v. Supply of Food Tutoring services.

CONDITIONS OF TENDER
i. Bridges for Tonkers must enclose in their applications, photocopies of the following;
ii. Certificate of Incorporation:
Registration (legal status)
iii. Valid Trading License
iv. Valid tax clearance certificate
v. Documentary existence of past performance and qualification of key staff.
v. Names of Directors, Rent & No Number and passport size photos
v. Physical, Postal and Tax Numbers
v. Memorandum or Article of Association.
v. Not registration certificate where applicable.
v. Company powers of attorney.
v. Any other information you may think appropriate to supplement your bid.
v. Bill securing declinations.

Each item should be applied for separately.
Bibles will pay a non-relurchase Fee of 100X: 56,800+ (Fifty thousand stallinga only) for each item.

Payment shall be made to Uganda Revenue Authority using IRAS to generate PRN. Evidence of payment will then be presented to the District Centre to obtain a general receipt. Which you will subsequently present in the Procurement and Disposal until to be Registered and obtain a bid document.
In addition to the original booking, the number of copies required are two and must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly meeting the subject and addressed.

BID SUBURBION SHOULD not be later than 08th June 2024 at 11:30 AM Local time and thereafter bills will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. In the Council Chambers in the presence of the Bibles’s their agents who may wish to attend.

The unit oversees the procurement of goods, services, and works for the district, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the pre-qualification and bidding processes for contractors and suppliers.
  • Evaluating bids and ensuring fair competition among bidders.
  • Maintaining records of all procurement activities and ensuring timely delivery of procured items.
  • Coordinating with other departments to identify procurement needs and prioritize projects.
