PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE NO.1

INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY FOR VARIOUS WORKS, SERVICES, SUPPLIES AND FRAME WORK CONTRACTS UNDER OPEN NATIONAL BIDDING

1. Luxia District Local government is Expediting funding from the Government of Uganda and Development Partners. Part of which it intends to use for the Procurement of goods, services and works in the financial year 2026-2027.

2. Luxia District Local Government now invites sealed applications from suitably qualified and competent financial/private organisations for various works, services and supplies for financial years 2026-2027 & 2027-2028.

3. Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Regulations, 2023 of the Government of Uganda.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Luxia District Local Government and inspect the shortlisting bidding documents at the address given below not later than 12th August 2026.

   • The Procurement and Disposal Unit Office

   • Luxia District Local Government, Main Office Block.

   The Short-listing/bidding documents in English may be Purchased by interested bidders from the address above, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 30,000/= for Revenue Collection centres and 100,000/= (One hundred three Thousand shillings) for other works supplies and services.

   For payment details contact the District Cashier on TEL: 0778 846 857 to obtain the PRN and thereafter you will get a general receipt from district cashier after payment.

5. Bids must be delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit on or before 12th August 2026 at 10:00am and late bids shall be rejected.

6. Thereafter bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00am in the Council Chambers in the presence of bidders or their representative who wish to attend.

1. Siting, monitored Drilling, Test pumping and water quality analysis of deep bore holes.

2. Construction of casement blocks and Latrines

3. Renovation of Buildings and Fencing and carpentry works

4. Construction of piped water Schemes

5. Rehabilitation of Erobolites (Reserved for Hand Pump Melechine Compenses)

CATEGORY 'B' - SUPPLIES

1. Procurement and supply of school Furniture e.g Desks

2. Procurement and supply of Office Furniture

3. Procurement and supply of motorcycles

4. Procurement of improved Agricultural inputs e.g maize seeds, Urea fertilizers, DAP etc

5. Procurement and supply of tree seedlings

6. Supply of Chlorine

7. Supply and installation irrigation equipment for demonstration sites

8. Supply of Computers, Printers, Accessories and Related Electronics

9. Supply and installation of Solar and Maintenance of Electrical Appliances
