INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY AUDIT FIRMS, CONSULTANCY FIRMS AND INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS FOR THE PROVISION OF AUDIT AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEARS 2026/2027, 2027/2028 AND 2028/2029.

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Uganda. The Auditor General is mandated by Article 163 (3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 and Section 12 of the National Audit Act, Cap 170, to audit and report on the public accounts of Uganda and of all public offices, including the Courts, the Central and Local Government Administrations, Universities and Public Institutions of like nature, and any Public Corporation or other bodies or Organisations established by an Act of Parliament.

Article 163 (3) (d) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 and Section 22 of the National Audit Act, Cap 170, empower the Auditor General to engage private auditors to assist him or her in the performance of his or her functions.

OAG now invites sealed applications from eligible and competent firms and individual consultants who will be invited to provide the services from time to time during the financial years 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Outsourcing Policy and Supervision of Outsourced Audits Guidelines, revised edition 2025 and is open to all eligible bidders.

Applications will be opened internally. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. The Office of the Auditor General is not bound to accept any application and can cancel the prequalification exercise at any time without notice.
