Background

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is in German federal company for technical cooperation and has been operated in Uganda since 1964 to promote sustainable development on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

BMZ commissioned GIZ in November 2015 to implement two global programmes on land governance, namely, the "Global Programme on Responsible Land Policy" of which the Responsible Land Policy in Uganda (RELAPU) project makes part.

For the last eight years, the project has been supporting the Ministry of lands, Housing and Urban Development in implementing the 2015 National land policy in West-Nile, Central, Eastern and Northern Uganda.

1. Invitation to Bid
   GIZ Uganda through RELAPU Project invites bids from common and eligible firms to provide GNSS equipment to support and sustain the land documentation efforts.

2. Requesting for Tender Documents and Terms of Reference
   Interested and eligible bidders can obtain detailed bidistributioner documents in such copy form only. 3. Seeking Clarification Regarding the Bidding Documents, Tender Terms and Conditions

4. Bid Submission Deadline

5. Important Information to Note
   A Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the subject may disqualify your offer directly as it may fail to be received in the tender box.
   Late version will not be accepted.

6.    Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy shall be rejected.
   You should have priced offer in PDF. Do not encrypt offers since they may be incompatible with GIZ content.

7. Like two separate emails to submit the technical and financial proposals. Submit the technical proposal in one email and the financial proposal in a separate email.

8. Only use GIZs file transfer service at https://files/articles/dgizu.de/ submitting documents that exceed the default mail size of 30 bits. Using the forms of file transfer disqualifies your offer.

9. Should you use the file transfers in UqI above, ensure you submit the password before the bid submission deadline date and time. Failure to provide the password, your client cannot be opened and will be disqualification automatically.

10. The financial deposit should be submitted in Uganda Shillings.

11. Failure to follow any of the above instructions may result in your offer being encrypted and/or rejected.

GIZ reserves the right to cancel this process at any stage without informing the providers and without any obligation to refund the providers who will have participated in this tender process.
