Job Purpose

To oversee the shipping documentation process, loading and inspection operations, and the validation of operational certificates and licenses across the supply chain. This role ensures full compliance with ofi’s shipping guidelines and documentation management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the overseas team to ensure timely shipment of goods and the preparation of all required shipping documents.
  • Liaise with clearing agents at ports and local borders to facilitate smooth customs processes.
  • Monitor daily inventory levels of all products in transit.
  • Perform managerial duties including planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Manage loading and offloading schedules in coordination with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions to maintain correct inventory status.
  • Validate company operational certificates and licenses, and oversee their renewal and expiry management.
  • Ensure timely registration of product sales with relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable frameworks.
  • Prepare and issue export documentation in line with buyer specifications and agreed timelines.
  • Ensure full compliance with quality assurance protocols and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with other departments to support seamless operations.

Person Specification

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution.

A master’s degree in business administration or a related professional qualification is an added advantage.

5–7 years of experience in shipping, clearing, and forwarding, or within an export oriented company.

Strong background in export/import processes, documentation, cost and budget planning, and execution.

Indepth knowledge of logistics and shipping operations.
