Responsibilities or duties:
- Perform diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance on customer and company vehicles
- Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical system repairs as assigned.
- Follow job cards and instructions provided by the workshop supervisor or service advisor.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify faults or potential maintenance needs.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools responsibly.
- Test vehicles after repairs to confirm issues are fully resolved.
- Report any additional defects or required parts to the supervisor before proceeding.
- Support team members and assist in complex repairs when required.
Qualifications or requirements:
- Minimum qualification; Certificate in automotive technology or related field
- Experience; not less than three years of practical experience in a professional garage or service center.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work on various vehicle types.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
