Responsibilities or duties:

• Perform diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance on customer and company vehicles
• Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical system repairs as assigned.
• Follow job cards and instructions provided by the workshop supervisor or service advisor.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify faults or potential maintenance needs.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools responsibly.
• Test vehicles after repairs to confirm issues are fully resolved.
• Report any additional defects or required parts to the supervisor before proceeding.
• Support team members and assist in complex repairs when required.

Qualifications or requirements:

• Minimum qualification; Certificate in automotive technology or related field
• Experience; not less than three years of practical experience in a professional garage or service center.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work on various vehicle types.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
