Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all clinical aspects of the OPTIMAH Study clinical assessments, management of illnesses (including malaria and HIV-related conditions), and ensuring participant safety throughout the study period
  • Participate in patient pharmacokinetic (PK) evaluations
  • Ensure coverage and assist in daily operations in the clinic during working hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
  • Participate in regular team meetings, and training sessions.
  • Support participant retention strategies through community engagement activities
  • Document deviations, adverse events, and corrective actions

Qualifications:

BACHELORS : MBCHB - Mandatory

Certifications:

GCP - Added Advantage

Skill & Experience:

  • Strong competency in pediatric clinical assessment and management - Mandatory
  • Understanding of clinical research principles and protocol adherence - Added Advantage
  • Experience with clinical documentation and case report forms (CRFs) - Added Advantage
  • Knowledge of informed consent/assent processes in pediatric research - Added Advantage
  • Strong communication skills with children and caregivers - Mandatory
