Job Summary & Classroom Scope
The Nursery Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners. Operating within GIS Ltd’s early childhood setup, the teacher will design age-appropriate instructional activities, support cognitive and social-emotional development, and foster a lifelong love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities tailored to early childhood development.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment conducive to young children's learning and growth.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and evaluate early childhood developmental milestones, social behaviors, and foundational skills.
- Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents regarding student wellbeing, development, and progress.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Relevant academic degree or diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or Primary Education.
- Experience: Proven teaching experience in an early childhood or pre-primary educational setting.
- Background Check: Candidates must pass a comprehensive background and reference check.
- Core Skills: High patience, creativity, strong communication skills, and alignment with GIS Ltd’s core values.
