RENU is hiring a Payables Accountant (2) to manage end-to-end accounts payable function to ensure accurate invoice processing, timely supplier payments, compliance with tax and internal control requirements, and integrity of financial records. The role also supports effective cash flow planning and liquidity management through accurate forecasting and payment scheduling.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Commerce from a RENU Member university.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• At least CGPA 4.0.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in accounts payable or financial accounting.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations (VAT/WHT).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
