ThinkIT is a technology solutions company that develops and implements digital systems designed to improve operational efficiency for businesses and institutions. One of its key products is the Yotta Pharma System, a comprehensive digital platform designed to help pharmacies manage inventory, prescriptions, sales, reporting, and regulatory compliance. As the adoption of the system grows across multiple pharmacy outlets and healthcare facilities, there is a need for a dedicated field-based professional who can support system implementation, provide ongoing user support, strengthen client relationships, and expand the client base through proactive engagement with potential pharmacy partners. The field support & client engagement officer will therefore play a critical role in ensuring successful onboarding of new clients, continuous system support for existing users, and expansion of the system’s reach in the pharmacy and healthcare sector.
Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure effective implementation, support, and growth of the Yotta Pharma System by engaging with pharmacy clients, assisting them with onboarding and system usage, troubleshooting operational issues, and identifying opportunities to onboard new clients. The position requires both technical system support capabilities and professional knowledge of pharmacy practice, making it essential for the candidate to be a qualified pharmacist who understands the operational realities of pharmacy management.
Scope of Work
The field support & client engagement officer will be responsible for engaging with pharmacies and healthcare providers that use or may adopt the Yotta Pharma System. The role involves system onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and relationship management, as well as identifying new business opportunities for system deployment. The officer will work closely with the thinkIT technical team to ensure that system-related issues are addressed promptly and that users are able to fully utilize the platform’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacies and healthcare facilities using the Yotta Pharma System.
- Serve as the primary contact person for client inquiries related to system functionality and support.
- Conduct regular visits to client pharmacies to ensure effective system usage and client satisfaction.
- Gather user feedback and communicate system improvement suggestions to the technical development team.
System Onboarding and Training
- Support the onboarding of new pharmacies adopting the Yotta Pharma System.
- Assist clients with system setup, configuration, and initial data entry.
- Provide hands-on training to pharmacy staff on system functionality including inventory management, prescription processing, and reporting.
- Ensure that new users fully understand system workflows and operational procedures.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level technical support for system users encountering operational challenges.
- Identify and document system issues and escalate them to the technical team when necessary.
- Assist clients in resolving routine operational issues related to system usage.
Market Expansion and Client Acquisition
- Identify and engage potential pharmacies and healthcare facilities that could benefit from the Yotta Pharma System.
- Conduct demonstrations and presentations of the system to prospective clients.
- Support efforts to expand the adoption of the system in new geographic areas and healthcare networks.
Field Monitoring and Reporting
- Document field visits, client feedback, and system performance observations.
- Prepare periodic reports on onboarding progress, support activities, and client engagement outcomes.
- Provide insights to management on trends, client needs, and potential improvements.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Must be a qualified Pharmacist with a recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy.
- Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulatory body is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and dispensing workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic understanding of digital systems and willingness to learn technical platform functionality.
- Ability to travel frequently and work in a field-based role.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
