Background

Purpose of the Role

To strengthen academic quality, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement across the university.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accreditation & Compliance: Monitor compliance with NCHE and international accreditation standards. Review and update institutional policies. Support implementation of regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance Awareness & Capacity Building: Promote quality assurance activities. Participate in quality assurance forums and workshops.
  • Program Reviews: Coordinate cyclical program reviews. Organize information sessions and workshops. Provide expert advice and feedback on self-study reports and instructional materials. Coordinate external reviewer selection and site visits.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain review tracking systems. Support accountability reporting. Maintain quality assurance records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Improve QA processes and systems. Review communication materials and website content. Develop and analyze surveys.
  • Team Support & Health and Safety: Support office operations and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Education, Public Administration, or related field).
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in administrative or project support roles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience drafting reports and briefing materials.
  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences.

Application Requirements

  • PhD is desirable.
  • Experience in higher education is preferred.
  • Knowledge of university academic and support units.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes is an asset.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data is an asset.
