Asili Agriculture is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Controller to ensure that all grain received, processed, stored, and transported meets the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Conduct accurate quality control testing on grain during receiving and storage, promptly reporting any contamination or infestation and helping resolve issues.

Prepare and submit timely, accurate quality reports, including insights for improvement and support for audits and compliance documentation.

Ensure full compliance with grain handling standards, food safety requirements, sanitation guidelines, and HSSE regulations.

Minimize grain losses by following proper handling procedures and training staff on quality and safety protocols.

Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

High attention to detail.

Minimum 1 years' experience in grain handling, food processing, or agricultural industries.

Knowledge of grain testing, grading, and handling.

Proficiency in English (written & spoken).

Knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.

Work Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work environments, including fieldwork.

PPE must be worn at all times.

Seasonal shift work and extended hours may be required.

Travel to other Asili sites as needed.
