Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and people-centered Recruitment Specialist – Maids Placement to lead the recruitment, vetting, placement, and ongoing management of housemaids for our clients. This role requires strong coordination, excellent communication, and a passion for providing dependable home support services to Ugandan households and international residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively recruit potential housemaids from trusted sources, communities, and referral networks.
- Conduct in-depth vetting: identity verification, background checks, and medical screening.
- Organize and deliver pre-placement training on hygiene, childcare, etiquette, and safety.
- Understand client needs (e.g., number of children, age, cooking skills, live-in/live-out preference).
- Match housemaids with suitable clients, considering experience, compatibility, and preferences.
- Clearly explain job roles and expectations to both the maid and the client before placement.
- Conduct follow-up calls or visits with both the maid and the client within the first week and regularly thereafter.
- Handle and document client complaints and feedback; resolve issues through mediation or replacement arrangements when necessary.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify ongoing needs.
- Respond promptly to inquiries about maid availability or service details.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely responses, transparency, and professional handling of all placements.
- Keep accurate records of all placed maids, client interactions, and replacement cases.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, social work, or client services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to speak multiple local languages is an added advantage.
- Organized and committed to maintaining accurate, confidential records.
