Job Description:

1.Prepare the registration/post-registration dossiers, and get the approval according to the registration plan, communicate with the regulatory authority on product registration, including but not limited to regulatory inquiries, review documents, solving feedback.

2.Ensure timely follow-up and communication with local trials institution to expedite the report completion. Solve problems in the trials process and ensure all will be proceeded on time.

3.Review product labelling, packaging, and promotional materials for regulatory compliance.

4.Advising the commercial area for the full compliance of the regulation in the activities related to the commercialization of crop protection products, including the importation.

5.Communicate and coordinate with HQ and Area Head to accomplish yearly plan.

6.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirement:

-Experience:

1.At least 2 years of experience in pesticide registration in Uganda.

2.Familiar with regulations related to the crop protection industry in Uganda.

3.Experience and knowledge in the preparation of dossiers for the application for registration with the regulatory authority.

4.Knowledge of current regulations on registration and post-registration processes.

-Personal skills:

1.Bachelor’s degree and above in agronomy, crop protection, chemistry or agricultural engineering, or related fields required.

2.Proactive attitude, good organizational, communication, problem-solving skills, and strong execution ability.

3. Fluent English (written and spoken).
