Background

Abryanz is opening a new store in Kabalagala. This role is contracted via a licensed security firm.

Purpose

Protects people, stock and cash across a large-format, high-value multi-category store.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff the entrance/exit and monitor high-shrinkage areas (fragrances, luggage/leather, own-brand corner).
• Support opening/closing procedures - premises walk-through, alarm arming/disarming.
• Monitor CCTV and EAS (electronic article surveillance) tag alerts, and respond to incidents per the security firm's protocol.
• Support cash-in-transit/banking runs alongside the Finance & Admin Officer.
• Maintain a visible but discreet presence appropriate to a premium retail environment.

Requirements & Profile

• Licensed, insured security firm placement (recommended over a single in-house hire at this stage).
• Experience in retail or premium hospitality security preferred

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Shrinkage rate store-wide, tracked monthly against the loss-prevention log.
• Incident response time and complete incident logging
• Zero unresolved EAS/CCTV alerts left uninvestigated
