Location: International Oil & Gas Pipeline Project

Overview:
CPP is looking for a Senior Pipeline Welding Operator to perform high-quality welding tasks for a major oil and gas pipeline project. This role involves reading blueprints, operating welding equipment, and ensuring work meets stringent specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand welding requirements.
• Source and prepare materials for welding, ensuring proper specifications.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit pipeline sections.
• Operate welding equipment, including SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), to join pipeline components.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 8 years’ experience in pipeline welding for oil and gas projects.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS, API).
• Proficiency with welding equipment and techniques (SMAW, GTAW).
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and quality requirements.
• Physical ability to work in demanding field conditions.
