The Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE), the apex association representing engineering professionals in Uganda, invites applications from the general public – particularly UIPE members in good standing, who own or operate registered companies – for prequalification to supply goods and provide services to the UIPE Secretariat for an initial two (2) year period of Framework Contracting.
Applicants may apply for one or more of the following Lots:

| 1 | Hotel Services | Accommodation, conformance with venue and hospitality for UIPE functions and CPD training sessions. |
| 2 | Catering Services | Meals, teas, drinks and refreshments for meetings, trainings, workshops and conferences. |
| 3 | Compound Maintenance & Furnigation | Grounds or compound maintenance and periodic pest control at the UIPE premises. |
| 4 | Generator Repair & Maintenance | Servicing breakdown repair, spare parts and fuel for standby generators. |
| 5 | Office Consumables | Supply of pantry, kitchen and lavatory consumables. |
| 6 | Stationery & Office Supplies | General office stationery, printing supplies and consumables. |
| 7 | Printing, Branding & Publicity Materials | Reports, brochures, banners, signs, apparel and corporate souvenirs (other more explicit details are depicted in the purchase/bidding document). |
| 8 | Other Key Services | Fire extinguisher servicing, PAVA equipment hire, event branding, among others. |
Enlistment & Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must be duly registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB); hold a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) from URA; hold VAT registration/TIN confirmation and PPDA provider registration, where applicable; hold a current trading licence; demonstrate at least four (4) years’ verifiable experience in the Lot(s) applied for; and demonstrate adequate capacity to deliver Companies owned or operated by UIPE members in good standing are strongly encouraged to apply.
All interested bidders are required to purchase bidding documents at a non-refundable application fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only) payable to the following UIPE banking details: Stanbic Bank, AVC No. 9030005841819, Metro Branch. Proof of payment must be submitted at the point of request for bidding documents.
Interested and eligible applicants should request the full Notice for Prequalification (NFP) document and Application Form (Annex A) from the UIPE Secretariat via email address below. Completed applications, together with all required statutory documents, may be submitted as one consolidated PDF/ZIP file by email, or as three (3) bound hard copies delivered to the UIPE Secretariat, P.O. Box 1308, Plot 2, Gloucester Avenue, Kyambogo, Kampala, Uganda, during business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EAT, Monday – Friday).
