Description

Jolly International School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Upper Primary English Teacher to join our dedicated academic team. This position requires a dynamic and passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to upper primary learners and preparing them for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint examinations.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Formal teacher training and certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in an international or Cambridge school setting.
  • Proven experience with Checkpoint exam preparation and Cambridge Primary English framework.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Ability to use modern teaching strategies and integrate technology into learning.

  • A learner-centered approach to teaching.
  • Passion for literacy development and critical thinking.
  • Ability to contribute to curriculum planning and co-curricular programs.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
