Job Summary

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience. The role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to available seating where required.
• Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.
• Process customer bills and payments where assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Report customer complaints or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and café staff to ensure efficient service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
