Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join Next Communications, a brand of Next Media Group. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving digital advertising sales and promotional partnerships across Next Communications’ digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, and other digital properties. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop tailored digital advertising solutions that meet client objectives while contributing to the commercial growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Sell digital advertising space and promotional opportunities across Next Communications’ websites, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
- Meet with clients to understand their marketing and communication objectives and recommend tailored digital advertising solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial pitches.
- Negotiate advertising agreements and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with content, digital, creative, and marketing teams to deliver effective client campaigns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client database, and regular sales reports.
- Monitor digital media, advertising, and consumer trends to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Represent Next Communications at client meetings, networking engagements, and industry events.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the media, advertising, or digital marketing industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and successfully close business opportunities.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Familiarity with digital media platforms, online advertising, social media, and current advertising trends is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital advertising tools is an added advantage.
