Role Overview

Ardenfield CPA is recruiting an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our Client in the Hospitality Industry. We are looking for a competent and proactive individual with a minimum of 1 year experience and willing to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including bookkeeping and ledger updates.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and support tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.
  • Manage inventory records and maintain accurate stock movements.
  • Receive, issue, and reconcile store items while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory variances.
  • Maintain proper storage of office supplies and company assets.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on procurement and inventory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders where required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting and or Accounts Assistant Role.
  • Progression in a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CPA is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
