Qualifications/Experience required
- Engineering degree or equivalent in related discipline with experience in pre-commissioning within Oil & Gas
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas projects, with extensive multi-discipline pre-commissioning and Oil Gas construction experience
- Good knowledge of major Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
- The ideal candidate shall be fully conversant with the applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards as well as best Industry Practices.
- A good awareness of other disciplines. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid medical certificate per company standards.
Main Missions
Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and update short-term plans and look-ahead plans for the Oil Treatment Unit (OTU), work in line with the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work fronts with site supervisors, discipline leads, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and the sequencing of activities.
Work Monitoring :
- Track and monitor the daily progress of OTU activities (installation, alignment, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation connections).
- Monitor the status of critical equipment, long-lead items, and materials required for OTU.
- Ensure the tracking of engineering deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
Technical Support and Interfaces :
- Assist site teams in resolving technical queries and clarifying construction details.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely handovers.
Pre-commissioning and Readiness:
- Monitor pre-commissioning activities, punch list completion, and preparation for OTU commissioning.
- Verify the conformity of auxiliary systems (fuel gas, air intake, lubrication, controls) before handover.
