Responsibilities or duties

To assist in teaching courses, conducting assessments, providing support to undergraduate students and providing systems administration services

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Should have a masters’ degree in Education Foundations

Should have a first class or second class- upper Bachelor’s degree in Education Foundations or related field

Demonstrated computer and communication skills

Experience needed

Having knowledge and experience in writing fundable research grants proposal is an added advantage

• Teach undergraduate courses
• Develop course materials and assessments
• Provide academic guidance and support to students
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publication or innovation
• Contribute to departmental Institute and community service
• Conduct research and disseminate research findings through conferences, seminars and publications
• Supervise undergraduate students undertaking research projects.
• Conduct seminars and tutorials
• Write proposals for attracting funds to the department
• Participate in meetings, workshops and conferences.
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department
