Bfd Notice under Open Domestic Bidding

Extension of a 3KVA Power line to National Coffee Research Institute (NaCORI)

1. The Government of Uganda through National Agricultural Research Organisation allocated funds for approval of Extension of a 3KVA Powerline to the National Coffee Research Institute (NaCORI)-Kitauza

2. The Entity invites seated bids from eligible folders for the provision of the above works.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assists Act (the Act) Cap 30a and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all eligible folders.

4. Intersected eligible folders may obtain further information and request the bidding document at the email provided below at 8(g) form 8 am to 4 pm.

5. The bidding document is prepared in the English language and may be purchased by interested folders at the email address mentioned at 8(h) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 10(24, 100,000). (Upanda Shillinge One Hundred Thousand Only) Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through a convenient commercial bank by obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(g) at or before 11:30 am on 16th January 2025. At bids must be accompanied by a full security item at completed commercial bank of UEX 10,000,000 (Upanda Shillinge Ten Million). Bid securities must be valid until 19th July 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will have received bids with agreed in-line presence of the folders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(g) at 11:30 am on 16th January 2025.

7. A pro-bid bidding shall be held on 9th January 2025 at National Coffee Research Institute (NaCORI), Makono Kitauza at 10:00am.
