1. The Government of Uganda through Ministry of Water and Environment, has received funds from the Germany Government through KfW to be used for the acquisition of the above works.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act) Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:30am to 5:00pm during official working hours.
5. The bidding documents which have been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be by Direct Debit to URA Accounts.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00am on dates stated in the table above. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of an unconditional bank guarantee in the amount stated above. Bid securities must be valid until 21st May, 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 am on dates indicated in table above.
7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting(s)/site visits (Site Visit is Mandatory) as indicated in the table above.
8. Bidders should note the following:
   a. Documents may be inspected at: Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ministry of Water and Environment, Plot 3-7 Kabalega Crescent Road, Luzira, P.O. Box 20026, Kampala.
   b. Documents will be issued from: Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ministry of Water and Environment, Plot 3-7 Kabalega Crescent Road, Luzira, P.O. Box 20026, Kampala.
