Position: Braider
Workplace: Letty Beauty Uganda

Job Purpose

The Braider will provide high-quality professional hair braiding services while creating a welcoming and luxurious salon experience for every client. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent technical skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their preferred hairstyle, braid type, length, and desired finish.
• Perform a variety of professional braiding styles to a high standard.
• Prepare clients' hair appropriately before braiding.
• Ensure neat, clean, secure, and long-lasting hairstyles.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles and hair-care practices based on clients' preferences and hair condition.
• Maintain excellent hygiene and sanitation practices throughout each service.
• Handle salon tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive workstation.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and personalized customer service.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and colleagues.
• Manage appointments and complete services within reasonable timeframes.
• Maintain awareness of current hair trends and techniques.
• Report any damaged equipment or shortages of salon supplies to management.
• Support the overall cleanliness and smooth operation of the salon.
• Perform other duties related to the role as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a professional hair braider.
• Relevant beauty, hairdressing, or cosmetology training is an advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge of different braiding techniques and styles.
• Excellent attention to detail and finishing.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
