JOB DETAILS:

CATEGORY B: BUS ATTENDANT.

Minimum required qualification for bus attendant

• Education: UCE certificate or equivalent and credit in English
• Knowledge: basic mechanics or certificate in motor vehicle mechanics or trade test certificate
• Driving: a valid class permit, Certificate in first aid is an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities of the bus attendant

• Carry out routine checks and daily maintenance checks before taking off
• Manage the passenger door and the boots
• Support the driver during turning and parking
• Control stopping and taking off
• Ensure the security of all passengers and their luggage inside the bus
• Maintain the hygiene, cleanliness and ensure the safety and security of the bus.

Age 25 - 35 years

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
