Job Purpose:

To identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and business opportunities that contribute to the growth and diversification of Masaka Farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for farm products and services.
  • Develop and present business proposals and pitch decks to potential partners and investors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, government agencies, and community organizations.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expansion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership projects.
  • Track and report on the performance of business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing successful partnerships.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent understanding of the agricultural sector is a plus.
