• Develop and execute menu plans that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the workforce.
• Procure food and supplies efficiently while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, storage, and sanitation.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food service.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering services effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to enhance service quality.
• Address and resolve any catering-related issues promptly.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Train and mentor staff to improve their skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to catering operations.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in catering and kitchen management with a background of Head Chef.
• Experience in remote site services is a significant advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional culinary and menu planning abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work in challenging and remote environments.
• Must be of Ugandan nationality.
