Job title: Chief Operations Geologist - Geology & Reservoir Team
Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• Responsible for geological operations during the development wells drilling, under the leadership of project manager.
• To prepare the work program, budget and supervise the operations including well logging, mud logging, data acquisition, etc.

Responsibilities:
• Execute plan of the development wells geological data acquisition, take control of budget and cost.
• Establish and execute geological operations and s technical standards.
• Organize and verify the geological operation related design of critical well. Management of operational geological operation team including geological supervisor, mud logging supervisor and well logging supervisor
• In charge of the operation geological proposal, such as well geological proposals. Logging proposals and geological data acquisition proposals.
• Draft budget for single project and select suitable contractor
• Supervise operational status such as drilling, geophysical operations, logging, and mud log and production test, resolve problems and recommend on

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Geology, Petroleum or related
• At least 8-year working experience of geological operation in Oil and Gas industry.
• Interactional experience is required with senior technical tittles.

Knowledge:
• Familiar with knowledge of geophysics, logging and mud log.
• Familiar with project management, commercial contract, management of cost and related knowledge.
• Be aware of standard oil law, policies and legislations.
