Clinical Officer – 2 Positions
Job Summary:
The Clinical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and health education while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients, take medical histories, and conduct physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate treatment within professional scope.
- Provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services.
- Refer patients requiring specialized care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Provide health education and counselling to patients and families.
- Work closely with nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.
- Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council.
- Relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
