Seeking experienced Commercial Vehicle drivers:

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and professional Commercial Vehicle Drivers currently based in Uganda who are interested in international career opportunities by relocating to the Middle East. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods, vehicles, or passengers in compliance with company policies and regional traffic laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, or heavy equipment, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety and maintenance needs.
  • Transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated destinations as per the assigned schedule.
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled according to safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel times, distances, fuel usage, and any incidents.
  • Adhere to all local traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, vendors, or other company representatives.
  • Assist with basic vehicle maintenance such as checking oil, water, tires, and reporting service needs promptly.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols established by the employer.

Requirements:

  • Valid and clean Ugandan Heavy Vehicle Driving License (e.g., CM, CH classes) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating heavy commercial vehicles or buses.
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to read and understand transport documentation and basic written instructions in English.
  • Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Willingness to relocate to the Middle East (relocation support provided by employer).
  • Previous experience working abroad (preferable but not mandatory).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles (preferred).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
