We’re hiring a Communications Officer to help tell PEAS’ story in Uganda and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative communicator to lead national communications work that shines a spotlight on our impact and supports our growth.

Your role

You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering PEAS Uganda’s communications strategy, working closely with programme and business development teams to craft compelling stories, manage media engagement, and lead high-impact events. From building relationships with journalists to running our social media channels, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening PEAS’ visibility and voice.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills, a flair for storytelling, and at least four years’ experience in a similar role. You’ll be confident managing media, generating content for different platforms, and producing engaging materials that support our brand and strategy. A background in education, development or working with local media is a bonus.
