Overview:
CPP is seeking a Cost Control Supervisor to manage project budgets and ensure financial accuracy for a major oil and gas pipeline project. This role focuses on tracking costs, identifying savings, and supporting the project lifecycle with precise financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Track costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying variances and trends.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and forecasts for project planning.
- Ensure financial accuracy by maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost control, preferably in oil and gas projects.
- Proficiency in cost control software such as SAP, Oracle, or Excel.
- Strong financial analysis and project accounting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
